I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who finds paying an admission to an event unreal. I use to go to quilt shows to see the vendors but couldn’t understand why i should pay to enter to buy things. Thought it was just me. Great show as usual. It is funny how people sounds from different parts of the states. I grew up in the midwest and then lived in the northwest for years and was told that i had an accent. I didn’t get it but i guess there’s something there.

Lisa, could you please tell me the name of the wine that you were talking about some time back? I think it was Spanish. Thanks!

The wine was a garnacha (often called grenache in the US). I’ve never been able to find the brand that I had back around Thanksgiving again, but I’ve found some others that are pretty good. Red Guitar, Las Rocas and Tapena have all been good, though some are garnacha/tempranillo blends, not just garnacha, but they’re still good. :)

  2. What does 52:47 actually mean? I’d love to catch a shop update but can’t figure out if this is a date or time?

Since I started doing the shop update preview at the end of the podcast, I’ve been noting the point in the video when it starts…in this case, it started at the 52 minute, 47 second point. That way if someone only wants to see the shop preview and not the whole podcast, they can more easily skip ahead to that point. It doesn’t have anything to do with the actual time of the updates. I always do my regular shop updates on Friday afternoons, and I usually specify the time I’ll be doing so (or at least a time range) during the shop update preview in the podcast, as well as in the FDW Rav group and on the FDW Facebook page.
